The Homecoming Queen and her attendants who are elected by the football team, are revealed at this dance where the queen is presented with a sceptor. Rhe then officially reigns over the Homecoming season of that year. Düring halftime at the Homecoming game, the Queen and her court sit on the back of a convertible and are slowly driven around the football field. The SC had borrowed a full-lengnh red velvet and für lined cape from the opera house in Nürnberg, and this made a bril lant splash against the white car in which they were driving, ma — king the Queen look even more majestic.
